Meet your Trauma Therapist for AdultsIn Michigan, South Carolina, Florida & Vermont.
I help adults who are overwhelmed with life to rediscover joy and reconnect with the people they love. I believe there’s a reason for why you feel the way you do. I support adults to gain a deeper understanding about why they think, feel, and act the way they do so that they can truly heal.
By healing from your past, you can release the stress & fear that has control over your life. I want to help you to truly relax & live your life in a way that is honest, authentic, and in line with what you believe. Let’s work together to ditch the anxious feelings and help you feel confident that you can handle anything that comes your way.

Does life feel like a runaway train?
You are a person who feels things deeply. It’s a gift that allows you to offer deep compassion and care for others around you, but it can also cause you to feel overwhelmed.
After a while you may feel stuck in a cycle of to-do-lists and obligations. Focusing on everyone else, you’ve lost track of yourself. It’s hard to remember who you are and what you want in life. You’re not sure if what you want even really matters anymore.
Maybe you’re just trying
to keep your head above water.
You’re drowning in the wake and waves of the wants and needs of everyone around you. Most importantly, you want to be able to slow down and plant your feet on solid ground. Life doesn’t look the way you imagined. You want to feel calmer, connection, and confidence.
You want help to find your way back to yourself and a life that feels good.
Are you ready for more calm and less chaos?
Get relief from your pain, rediscover who you are & reclaim a life that you love.
My Approach to Therapy
I believe therapy should be a warm, welcoming place where you can feel free to be 100% you. I create a compassionate space for you to experience acceptance, support and non-judgement. My practice is inclusive, anti-racist, and affirming of all identities.
My goal is to help you understand yourself, your feelings, and what’s happening in your life so that you can begin to heal. I offer gentle support to help you gain clarity, confidence, & courage to take steps toward the change you want in your life.
Healing happens when we feel truly seen, heard, and understood
- exactly the way we are.

My Approach To Therapy
More About Me:
- I’m a thriving cancer survivor.
I went through a brutal treatment and was left feeling traumatized and shell-shocked. As a result of my experiences, I decided to help other survivors of medical trauma (& their family/friends) to process and make sense of what they’ve been through.
- I’m a lifelong reader & learner.
I have an inquisitive mind and love to know ‘stuff’. I read whatever happens to take my fancy at the moment. I love books and reading so much that I served on the Board of Trustees for my local library purely in a voluntary position.
- I approach life with a sense of humor and enthusiasm.
I like silly jokes and love to laugh. In fact, one of my favorite things in life is laughing.
- I’ve been in the caregiver role myself, more than once.
I understand the toll it takes on a person’s energy and mental health.
- I’ve had animal companions all my life.
The bond we have with a pet can feel stronger than those we may have with humans. Sometimes it seems like no one loves us like our pet. My pets make me laugh and smile every day. They’re a constant source of joy and love.
